You know that Saturday Night Live Turning 50? Gene Smart kicks off the festivities as the inaugural host of the longtime NBC show.
Smart, fresh off her Emmy win over the weekend, will perform on Sept. 28 with another Emmy attendee, musician Jelly Roll, who sang as part of the In Memoriam tribute.
Elsewhere, Nate Barkatze, Ariana Grande, Michael Keaton and John Mulaney are among the hosts. SNL Starting with five consecutive performances.

Barkatze, making his second return a year since his debut, will perform as Coldplay’s musical guest on October 5. Grande will host on October 12, joining Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks. Keaton on October 19 Billie Eilish and ex SNL Star Mulaney returns as musical guest with Chapelle Ron on November 2.
Coldplay appeared eight times; Grande returns to her second spot; Nicks is back for a second time as the musical guest. Keaton repeats for the fourth time; Eilish will be the musical guest for the fourth time and Mulaney will host for the sixth time.
