Pete Alonso’s Wife Haley ‘Chills’ Celebrating Slugger’s Epic Mets Homer

Haley Alonso took it all after her husband became a Mets legend.

Pete Alonso’s three-run, ninth-inning home run lifted the Mets to a 4-2 win in Game 3 of their wild-card series against the Brewers and saved a season without two outs.

On her Instagram story, Haley reposted a video of Alonso’s homer, which put the Mets down 2-0.

“Crazy!!!!!!” She wrote.

Haley said “chills” in a separate slide that was replayed on the home run call with Mets radio voice Howie Rose saying “He did it! Pete Alonso hit the most memorable home run of his career!”

He also shared a photo of Alonso and Mets manager Carlos Mendoza celebrating together after the win.

“Mendy & Pete,” she wrote, adding a pair of teary-eyed emojis.

Alonso’s critical foray into the American family sector was unlikely for a number of reasons.

It came against Milwaukee’s closer Devin Williams, who is one of the best in the game and Alonso was caught in a slump.

The slugger hasn’t had an extra-base hit in two weeks.

An inning earlier, he gave up an errant pop-up that thankfully didn’t extend the Mets’ deficit more than two runs.

“I wanted to be there,” Alonso said. “I wanted to deliver for my team. I wanted to contribute in a positive way.

Haley played his own part in the team’s success as Pete revealed the Mets’ playoff pumpkin, which the first baseman said he picked with his wife.

The home run and win extends Alonso’s career with the Mets by a few more games, as the team now faces the rival Phillies in the NLDS starting Saturday in Philadelphia.

Alonso, 29, is entering free agency, and no matter how the postseason unfolds, he’s given himself a bargaining chip.

Mets owner Steve Cohen cheered in the locker room, where players danced under a shower of champagne.

“It’s just a storybook script. A Hollywood writer could not have written it better,” he said.
