Brandon Iuk says the 49ers ‘don’t want me back’ in a viral social media post on NBC Sports Bay Area & California.

Brandon Ayuk appeared to offer ominous information regarding the status of his contract extension negotiations with the 49ers.

In a video posted to her TikTok account on Monday morning, she said, “I’m laughing, but I’m crying [for real],” Ayuk can be seen talking on FaceTime with Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jaden Daniels.

“What happened, man?” Daniels asked Iuk after watching one of the wide receiver’s highlights during the 49ers’ Week 11 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“They said they don’t want me back … I swear,” Ayuk replied.

Negotiations between Aiyuk and the 49ers appear to have stalled, with San Francisco reportedly offering the star wide receiver a contract in the ballpark of $26 million annually, $2 million shy of Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown’s $28 million. Annually, IUC is said to be a threshold target.

Daniels was Ayuk’s quarterback at Arizona State in 2019, and the two seem to have developed a close bond over the years.

The new face of the commanders is close enough to Ayyuk’s contract negotiations to get the latest inside scoop.
